Welcome to Shaarey Tikvah

We welcome you with open arms. We see ourselves as more than just an egalitarian Conservative synagogue. We are a warm, vibrant, innovative community where members enrich each others’ lives as we join together to worship, study, engage in tikkun olam, and celebrate holidays and life cycle events. With a membership of just 300 families, we are like an extended family with lots of room for you to join, participate, and grow. We invite you to join us any Friday evening (6pm) or Saturday morning (9am) for Shabbat services, or one of our other upcoming events.

Hearts and Minds in Israel

As the conflict in Israel intensifies, so many of us are busy thinking of our friends and family abroad. In our hearts, we too are in Eretz Yisrael. And many of us are wondering what we can do. Here's a short list:

Say Tehillim (Psalms) as a community. Join us at Tuesday night's minyan, July 22 at 7:15 PM as we raise our collective voices in prayers for peace in Israel and the safety of our brothers and sisters.

Stay to learn about CST's trip to Israel. Following our prayers on July 22, we will share details about next summer's mission to Israel (June 18-30, 2015).

Commit to going to Israel. Maybe you can't hop on a plane to Israel today, but you can plan to go on the CST trip. Israelis needs to know we won't forsake them during difficult times.

We will continue to send information about how you can support Israel during these difficult days, and also about our upcoming mission. If you have questions about the Summer 2015 Mission, contact Leah Epstein at leah.epstein@gmail.com.
