Learn How to Silk Paint a Challah Cover!

Start 2025 with a new creative outlet.

CST is partnering with Jenny Kaplan to offer a 5-part silk screening workshop!

Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9pm beginning February 11.

Make a traditional Challah Cover or wall hanging using silk, resist and dye. No experience necessary. All supplies will be provided, but inspiration photos or sketches are always welcome.

Ages 18 and older only please.

CST Members $180/person | Non-Members $200/person

Schedule:

February 11: stretching silk, designing layout and transferring design

February 18: Finish transfer and add resist

February 25: Begin painting

March 4: Finish painting and begin stitching the back

March 11: Finish sewing

March 18: Makeup class if needed! ​
